Ok, slow your roll - the dress I'm actually wearing as a coat, so it's not really THAT exciting. This is a vintage Katharine Hamnett dress that kinda-sorta brings to mind Prada FW12 (discussed here) with it's gorgeous royal purple hue (NO Barney references, thank you) and sheer geometric print (that's right, it's sheer). Holy shit with the parentheses, amiright? What's even more amazing about this hot piece of clothing ass is that I got it for twenty. friggin. dollars. Wah?! It was one of those magical shopping moments that are all too elusive...I was standing outside the dressing room at About Glamour, fingering hopelessly through a discounted rack of ladie's merch, wearing a size-too-big Yohji Yamamoto skirt when - BAM. What is this? This...thing? Ohmigod. Does this fit me? Will this fit me? Holyshityouguysthisfitsme.
I am mean muggin' throughout this entire shoot, IDK what's up with that. I suppose it's some sort of gah-why-am-I-up-so-early act. It's actually like, two in the afternoon. Don't be fooled. Oh, and yes - I'm still pushing my Birkenstocks thing. Hard.
