Except for those green shoes...and the beanie and socks. But other than that, today's look is all about post-gothic otter pup realness, with shades of Ashley Olsen channeling Rose McGowan circa Doom Generation. Ph. McArthur // sunglasses Warby Parker // t-shirt COS at Opening Ceremony // shoes vintage Dr. Martens // socks Richer Poorer
My friends and I watched Parker Posey's Party Girl last night after our Thanksgiving feast, so this outfit and all it's fabulosity just feels right right now. The best thing about an oversized fur coat is that it eliminates the need for layering; you just hug it tightly to your body and stomp ahead, wind gusts be damned! You previously saw the coat here, and the jeans you've seen me wear all the time and don't really give an isht about—but the t-shirt!
The t-shirt is COS for OC and I love it. I stopped in there about a week after they launched the collabo and picked up a lady sweater (in a size large; none of the girls at work [sidenote: every time I use the phrase 'girls at work' I feel like my mother] could even tell it was supposed to be cut for a woman, I think because where would her boobs go?) in a deep burgundy Merino wool. It's already like, my favorite sweater ever, almost literally. Back to the t-shirt tho: It's men's, but it's an XL because that was all they had left. Oh, wait, the rest of this story isn't actually that interesting, so in a nutshell: I shrank it in the dryer and now it fits perfectly! So...options. Ok, happy day after Thanksgiving—here are some thrift stores doing a "Green Friday" promotion, if you aren't in for all that Black Friday noise.
